Bet24 expands mobile app to 14 countries

Bet24's just announced the expansion of its mobile app for the iOS platform to 14 new countries.

Bet24's real money wagering app for iOS and Android were initially launched last December in the UK, France, and Austria. This week, the betting company included Switzerland, Sweden, Greece, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Cyprus, Latvia, Belgium , Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia in the list of countries where the iOS app is available for download. Bet24 decided to focus on the iOS platform for their expansion citing significant spending on wagering from iOS users. The inclusion of the 14 new markets makes Bet24's mobile app available to over 50% of Europe.

"Mobile has been a true success story for us with thousands of downloads since launch," said Bet24 manager Lars Kollind. "I have studied the development carefully since launch and I am proud to say that mobile poker generates growth without cannibalizing on current poker revenues from PC and Mac, we are really glad that the customers like our product and use it on a daily basis."

Bet24, which uses the Ongame Poker Network, announced their expansion in Europe at the heels of Pokerstars' own launch of their mobile app in the UK.
